 Who is Wild Rosie? 

She's a woman who bought a small cabin in Sweden and is redoing it herself without a car. 

So. Anything I'm doing will pale in comparison to the tasks that Wild Rosie has.

You might be thinking, has she bought anything. Me, I mean. No. Well, I did buy some contraband processed food for my granddaughter at the grocery store. Quickly realized it was a mistake. But after saying you will, let's not be changing our minds. She's 4. 

Books have tempted me. And I'm sure will continue to tempt me as the year wears on. I'm a bit of a Kindle addict. But because of that, I have plenty of books to read. It shouldn't be an issue. Just a bad habit to buy them. I did allow myself a Kindle Unlimited offer for a few months. But then I will quit that and delve into my stacks.

Yesterday, we began the construction of Calvin's Dojang. A back room (outdoor but with partial roof) that we cleaned up and laid out his new floor mat and kick bag. I'll insert a picture later. We like it because it's in the interior yard and he can be out there whenever he wants to practice. It's safe. Calvin has been practicing Hapkido now for about 5 months and is completely in love with it. He's currently working on his yellow belt. We're all very proud. So for Christmas, June and I got together and got him some good equipment.

Now that was money well spent. 2023 money.
